After a wonderful client visit for an upcoming wedding at the Eastern Point Yacht club, I’m re-posting photos from a previous wedding. The breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean seen beyond Lighthouse Cove on Gloucester’s outer harbor give the Eastern Point Yacht Club an incredibly expansive and exhilarating feeling. In contrast to the drama of the ocean, the Clubhouse and lawn area have a charming feel that’s perfect for intimate gatherings. Weddings at the Eastern Point Yacht Club give a summer home feeling on the most spectacular of ocean locations. Please enjoy the slideshow of photos!
It was an absolute delight celebrating Stefanie and PV’s engagement with a pre-wedding stroll through the Boston Public Library, Copley Square, the Copley Fairmont Hotel, and the beautiful Commonwealth Ave. Mall. I’m truly looking forward to their upcoming wedding this spring. Enjoy the photos!!
What a great way to celebrate Valentine’s day, photographing these college sweethearts at BU’s Marsh Chapel and BU Castle. I really enjoyed photographing Victoria & Francesco, these guys were so much fun!!! Victoria was a beautiful bride, in an amazing dress, in a stellar location and Francesco was a handsome and elegant groom. Victoria’s gorgeous dress from Allure Bridals was purchased at a Brides Against Breast Cancer charity event last winter. Every detail was a unique expression of their love: walking underneath GGRC rowing oars (in honor of Victoria’s crew team) as they exit the chapel as man and wife, a ski slope-shaped wedding cake in honor of their love of skiing, and one of the best first dances I’ve ever seen. The start of yet another Boston blizzard didn’t stop this joyous celebration.
Enjoy the photos as well as a personal note from the bride herself:
We met during freshman orientation at Boston University and nearly eight years later decided to return to our alma mater for our wedding. The Tudor Revival-style mansion on campus – the BU Castle – had always appealed to us and it was the perfect venue for a small and intimate reception. Francesco proposed on my January birthday and had planned an amazing engagement trip to go skiing and snowboarding in Stowe, Vermont. Because we wanted a winter wedding and a skiing honeymoon, we chose February 14 as our wedding date. To go along with the Valentine’s Day theme, I surprised Francesco with a champagne-pink ballgown as my wedding dress. There was plenty of white on our wedding day, though, as another snowstorm hit Boston and we were able to take some magical shots outdoors. We also chose ivory linens and ivory floral arrangements, thanks to Madison Floral. Special thanks also to our wedding coordinators Erin Phinney and Heidi Freimanis-Cordts, and to A Beat Away Entertainment, Giacomo & Rondi Salon, and David Tucker Photography.
Surrounded by family and friends, these high school sweethearts celebrated their love. What a gorgeous winter wedding nestled in the wooded grounds of the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA. To my delight, chilly temperatures did not deter this passionate pair from enjoying romantic outdoor shots.
This magical, fairytale venue was the perfect place for Chris and Francesca’s heartfelt ceremony and celebration. All were deeply touched. White on white was a beautiful and classic choice for the decor; reflecting the couple’s love of simple elegance. A big “thank you” to the team at Willowdale for creating a unique and memorable event. Enjoy highlights below and join me in congratulating these amazing newlyweds!
The exquisite ambiance of the Hampshire House on Beacon Hill, in the heart of Boston, provided the perfect setting for A and D’s intimate winter wedding! Thanks for braving the January winds as we dashed outside for a few photos at the magic hour. Enjoy the photos!!
