Michele Mottola at Special Events Consulting says:

“It is obvious that David Tucker loves what he does as his pictures always represent the essence of the person who is on the other end of the camera. He is warm, compassionate and so unbelievably talented.   David always scouts out his locations prior and makes many considerations that include LIGHTING,  background, accessibility, timing and ease for guests being photographed all before the event is in full swing. This pro activeness absolutely contributes to the success of any event.  I know my clients are in great hands when they select David Tucker, it is off my list of things to worry about.”

Ascending the long driveway which leads to the Sri Lakshmi Temple in Ashland, MA, one is instantly transported to another world. On the auspicious day of Prashanth and Stefanie’s Hindu wedding, the sky was a rich sapphire blue, creating a stunning backdrop for the intricate, white architecture of the temple’s exterior. The temple’s namesake is the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. The name Lakshmi is derived from ‘laksya’ in sanskrit which means ‘aim’ or ‘goal’. Lakshmi is the Goddess of material and spiritual wealth and prosperity. What a fitting place for PV and Stefanie to be wed in the traditional Hindu manner. Surrounded by an intimate gathering of family and friends, they became husband and wife through a richly beautiful and sacred Hindu ceremony; honoring PV’s family heritage. Enjoy highlights from this magical occasion!

Breath taking views of the Boston harbor and skyline, a picture perfect June day, and a couple deeply and sincerely in love. What could be better? All this adds up to a magical, and meaningful, celebration. The Boston Hyatt Harborside Hotel was a beautiful location for Stefanie and PV to take their Jewish wedding vows under a white chuppah, facing a stunning view of Boston, surrounded by loved ones. (Earlier, they became husband and wife in a colorful ritual that honored PV’s family’s tradition—stay tuned for pictures from their Hindu ceremony.) It was such a pleasure to photograph these two truly authentic individuals. Enjoy the images and join me in congratulating this wonderful couple!

Eastern Point Yacht Club in Gloucester, MA offered a spectacular setting for Anya and Matt’s seaside wedding. Located on the tip of Eastern Point, the views of the Atlantic are incredible and the venue is quintessential Cape Ann. Anya and Matt wanted a relaxed feel where her guests had plenty of time and space to enjoy the views and, as it turns out, the perfect weather. A stroll, a little cruise out in the boat, and nautical themes, all combined to create a picture perfect day. Many thanks to Ana Stefanovich at North Shore Weddings by Ana for elegantly coordinating the event and for all the unique details; a sparkler on the cake, oares for guests to sign and for the bonfire with toasted marshmallows.

Please enjoy the photos and join me in congratulating this wonderful couple!

I was deeply honored to photograph Danya and her family’s very special day. Danya is a delightful bright light who gave us all a very healthy dose of nachas (sympathetic joy). “L’Shanot” one of the themes of the evening, was projected on the wall of the ballroom. L’shanot means “Making a Difference”. The commitment to making a difference in the world was a very inspiring element in Danya’s Bat Mitzvah. The look of the party was “Boho” and was rich in Earth Elements with a casual elegance combined with a modern hippie look. Thanks to the Ritz Carlton Boston and Janie Haas Events who are always so wonderful to work with!! Enjoy the photos, and Mazel Tov on becoming a Bat Mitzvah!!
