An amazing two day celebration!! The celebrations began with gorgeous Henna /Mendhi creations at an intimate gathering for family and friends. The first day culminated in a fun and wild Haldi ceremony where bright yellow Turmeric was slathered onto the bride and groom to-be. The yellow color is auspicious and invites peace and prosperity.
The breathtakingly beautiful OceanCliff resort in Newport Rhode Island set the scene for a spectacular wedding the following day. Sushma and Josh had a heartfelt and fun outdoor ceremony overlooking the scenic Narragansett Bay. After the Western ceremony, Sushma and Josh changed into traditional Indian wedding attire. An elegant outdoor cocktail hour on the rolling lawns of OceanCliff preceded the dinner and party. Boston Sound and Light rockkkked the black mirrored LED lit dance floor!!
