Shalin Liu Performance Center Wedding in Rockport, Ma

Penny and Rick’s wedding at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, MA was sheer magic. This seaside concert venue was the perfect location for this exuberant couple who sparkle like light on the Atlantic ocean.

Penny and Rick got ready and had their joyous “first look” at the lovely Yankee Clipper Inn just short way down the road located also on the shore of the Atlantic. Then they proceeded to the stage of the Shalin Liu for their ceremony. Just as they were about to be pronounced man and wife, Penny (a fine singer, vocal coach and music director at Endicott College) burst into song. As if this was not enough of a delightful surprise for her groom and guests alike, Penny’s voice was joined one by one, group by group by other exceptional singers in the audience. Gradually, more and more singers added their voices until a “wedding flash mob” was in full swing. What fun, and don’t think there was a dry eye in the house! During their reception this spirited couple performed an elegant first dance to the amazement of their guests. Surely their marriage will be blessed with music and creative surprises.
