I’m so excited to share part two of Lauren and Raj’s spectacular two-day wedding celebration at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Warwick. Earlier, we posted highlights from their traditional Garba party which took place the day before the wedding. This second selection of highlights features their traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, as well as their western-style ceremony.
After a morning of preparations, The Bharaat, the grooms processional, began. Seated in a horse drawn carriage and surrounded by spirited dancing and drumming, Raj looked like a regal prince. The music and dance rose to a high pitch as everyone approached the wedding tent for the special Puja ceremony. Joined by friends and family, the Hindu ceremony began on the breathtakingly beautiful Mandap. A very rich and colorful series of rituals unfolded including the couple being showered with rose petals. It was an incredible visual and spiritual experience filled with emotions and love.
Following a short break, allowing the couple time to change into their western wedding clothes, their second ceremony began. Double ceremonies brought a sense of exuberance and abundance of love to the day. Family and guests traveled from all over the world to participate in this glorious celebration. Many thanks to Sayjal & Ambika of Blue Print Occasions and the whole team at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Warwick for all of their extraordinary efforts!
