Surrounded by friends and family, Danielle and Charles said their vows in front of the 18th century fireplace where Samuel Adams and his friends once ordered their oysters and beer. This crazy in love couple lit up everyone’s hearts. On a chilly November day, friends and family were basking in the warmth and exuberant charm of the Rye Tavern and it’s welcoming fireplaces. This was a very special and intimate wedding on the breathtaking and historic grounds of Rye Tavern in Plymouth, MA near Cape Cod. Prior to the event, Danielle told me what she loved was the mix of her beautiful silk dress and the tavern’s rustic charm. This combination mirrored the elegant, yet very cozy and relaxed feel of the event. Of course, Rye Tavern is also a foodie’s paradise, featuring locally grown food and farm to table specialties from their own garden. The 1792 tavern was built upon the site of a once popular tavern from the 1600’s (frequented by Pilgrims and other travelers along the winding road). Join me in congratulating these awesome newlyweds and wishing them many years of happiness.
