Hearty Mazel Tov to Gabe and his whole Mishpoche (family) !! Thank you for inviting me to be your artistic witness for your very special celebration. Gabe is what you call a real “Mench”, (a kind and good hearted young man, one of the ultimate goals in the Jewish tradition).
Gabe not only brought the ancient texts alive through weaving his own personal anecdotes and reflections into his talk, but filled everyone’s heart with an extra large dose of Nachas (pride)!! We’re all wishing the very best for you in the years ahead!! Hazak Barouch!!! (strength and blessings).
There was another incredible dimension to the day, and that was the first meeting Gabe and his parents had with their new nine month old cousin, just adopted from Vietnam. It was so touching for me to be able to photograph this special time for their family! Double simcha!!
The new space at Temple Israel is absolutely gorgeous, what a great job of renovation!! Yishar Ko-ach (great strength) to the Rabbi and the Cantor who do such a beautiful job, and with so much kavanah (altruistic intention). Big thanks to Michelle Schaufeld at “The Day Of” for making everything go so smoothly. And Max Ultimate Food, for the incredible goodies!!
